ORGANIZATION AND STRUCTURE OF ECOSYSTEMS
When talking about ecosystems it is important to keep in mind that; Ecosystem is the organizational unit for the study of ecology. When analyzing the structure of ecosystems, the following levels of organization are found; individual, population, community, ecosystem. Ecosystems can be terrestrial or aquatic. The set of all ecosystems is called the biosphere
BIOSPHERE: from the Greek bios = life, sphaira, sphere. It is the layer of planet Earth where life develops. The layer includes heights used by some birds on their flights, up to ten kilometers above sea level and marine depths such as the Puerto Rico trench more than 8 kilometers deep. However, these are the extremes, in general, the living Earth layer is thin, since the upper layers of the atmosphere are low in oxygen and the temperature is very low, while the depths of the oceans are greater than 1,000 m they are dark and cold. In fact, it has been said that the biosphere is like the peel of an apple in relation to its size
